The American Friends of Versailles (AFV) is a 501(c)3 charitable corporation for improving and promoting a positive American-French relationship. AFV serves as a sister organization to the long established Les Amis de Versailles. The express purpose of the corporation is to encourage support of the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. AFV raises funds for seminars, educational exchanges, and specific restoration projects within the Palace and its magnificent park.

The French government provides tremendous funding for Versailles each year.  The American Friends of Versailles and its sister organization, Les Amis de Versailles, engage in restoration projects that would not be achieved without the help of substantial and committed individual donations.

AFV is dedicated to maintaining the American support and an active interest in this UNESCO-designated world treasure in order to help preserve its history and beauty for future generations. Donations to AFV are making a meaningful difference and a significant, long term impact.
